The BlueBoat BaseStation is a sophisticated wifi radio access point crafted to facilitate connectivity for the BlueBoat Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV). This device is integrated with a 2.4 GHz Mikrotik radio and features an internal battery complemented by charge management, alongside USB-C connectivity. It supports both wireless and hardwired connections, offering the flexibility to control the BlueBoat via a wireless connection from a tablet or laptop, or through a direct USB-C connection for those who prefer a physical link.

The BaseStation comes standard with an omnidirectional whip antenna, which provides a substantial range, and is also compatible with directional antennas for users in need of extended reach. These can be attached to the provided N-type bulkhead for enhanced signal directionality. The device is further enhanced by a control pad that indicates the batterys charge status and includes options to power the device on or off and to manage the charging process.
