Building Biologist Shaun Kranish recommends eliminating any chance of dirty electricity by connecting your router or modem to an Ethernet Grounding Device.  The Grounding Device is hand made with has a component that lets you plug one grounded cable into your router or modem or WiFi and then another into your computer or to an adapter for laptops and smartphones.

Shielded Ethernet cables work great to protect you from the pulses of electricity that often ride on network cables, but only if your internet access point in your home is grounded or if the source of your network--your WiFi router for instance, is grounded- and that's what this Grounding Cord does.

The Ethernet Grounding Cord comes with one 6" CAT6 Grounded Ethernet Cable to stick in one side of the component and you can purchase other shielded cables to put on the other side of the component which will then link up to your computer or adapter for your devices.

We've found that most laptops are un-grounded.  This is a big problem especially when charging. When the laptop is grounded through it's Ethernet port with this grounding Ethernet Electrical Device, the electric current reduces significantly.

A great way to use this is with our Favorite Internet Splitter! It's awesome because it has metal trim.  The short, grounded Ethernet cable provided this adapter then grounds all metal-trimmed ports on our Favorite Internet Switch, thereby making any metal-tipped Ethernet cable that you plug into any of the four ports grounded, so you don't have  purchase a separate Ethernet Grounding Electrical Device for each port.

You can use ONE Device to ground everything connected to a or router that has metal tabs. If your router/switch has plastic ports and no metal trim tabs inside of the sides of the port, then you would need one of these adapters for each cable you plug in.
